Pure
essential oils are most beneficial when massaged
into the scalp where they benefit the health of
the scalp and subsequently the health of your hair.
Use of oil blends - 'nourishing conditioners' -
before washing is the most beneficial as the essential
oils are then absorbed and utilized by the scalp.
· To treat dry hair, massage
olive oil into the hair, wrap in the warm towel,
leave on for 1 hour and rinse out with a mild shampoo.
· For a conditioning treatment
blend an egg with olive oil and rub it into the
hair. Rinse out with diluted camomile tea. Use cool
water, or the egg will set! |

Care Tips
Healthy hair is a reflection of a balanced
diet and lifestyle and gentle treatment.
Like skin, hair is naturally acidic - frequent
washing with alkaline shampoo disrupts this
acidic balance and can be damaging to healthy
hair. So, the first step in treating hair
well is to
wash as infrequently as
you dare!
For
damaged hair (bleached, permed, blow dried
and often treated with harsh commercial
products) or when you want to be really
good for yourself choose nourishing conditioning
treatment first:
- Start with wet hair; massage your scalp
with the aromatic blend, paying special
attention to the ends that are prone to
splitting and dryness.
- Cover your head with towel and leave for
up to 1 hr before shampooing.
It is a good idea to do it weekly.
-
Always use mild pH shampoo and dilute
it before applying on wet hair!
- When shampooing, massage your scalp well
- it will improve blood circulation and
healthy hair growth. Don't use too much
shampoo - it will not make your hair cleaner!
Make sure you rinse it off thoroughly before
applying your chosen conditioner.
If
possible leave your hair to dry naturally
or at least do it a favour - set your blow
dryer's temperature for low!
